Ever wanted to be a part of a start up company? Have an idea that you think would really work as a business but you need a team of the right people to get you started? Think you have the energy to work as a team to create the framework for a business? Got March 20 – 22 free on your calendar?
A group of local business organizations is sponsoring an Entrepreneur weekend at Cape Cod Community College that will bring together brilliant minds—developers designers, marketers, to create a company from concept to launch. Before the event, those enrolled will communicate over the web to see what ideas are out there—and suggestions for what you might work on. At the kickoff Friday night, the entire group will vote on the best ideas and dole out tasks, and believe me, there will be something for everyone to do. You’ll be a part of a team of 8 highly motivated, energetic people that want to create a company from concept to launch in one weekend. At the end, the companies will be judged for their likelihood of success, and there will be angels in the room that might be able to make it happen. And even if it turns out it’s not possible, you’ll have left the weekend with more smart energetic friends than you had before, and you’ll know what it takes to create a business on Cape Cod.
