Cape Cod Property Sales Plummet?

The Cape Cod Times published today that:

"After two straight months of growth, Cape Cod real estate sales volume plummeted in November, according to numbers released yesterday by the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds. Last month, 321 sales were recorded at the registry, down more than 34 percent from November 2007, when 489 such transactions were completed. The total value of all sales was half what it was last November...."

Do you think this trend will continue? Or is the Cape a lot more fortunate than the rest of the country and will bounce back in the next month or so?

Tell us what you think - and if there are any realtors out there, how do you think December will pan out?
