AGENDA:

Friday March 20, 5 to 7:30 p.m.: Lead off keynote speaker Peter Karlson of NeuEon will get the group excited about the possibilities and set the stage for how the weekend will work. Then, at a “mixer” of entrepreneurs and team members, where Entrepreneurs pitch their idea first, the group votes on the top ideas, and then we help make sure there is the right mix of people to create a full team: a leader, idea person, marketing, finance, operations, etc. Then, the teams head off to begin their work.

Saturday, March 21, beginning at 8 a.m.: Continental breakfast and a presentation about marketing. Our on site team will review team composition, and make any corrections that need to happen before the groups break into teams for the day. They’ll reconvene at noon to get some advice about executing a plan (over lunch) and again at dinner to hear suggestions on finance and presentation. During each of those sectional breaks, we will have coaches available to check in with the teams to answer specific questions. The work will continue through the evening, when we make people leave the LoRusso building by 10PM.

Sunday, March 22: After coffee and donuts and a pep talk about the last few hours, the groups will work in teams until 11. Then, the judging begins and prizes are awarded. Teams will be given an outline to use for their presentation, which will allow us to have the best comparisons. The judging session will be open to friends and families of the participants, and all coaches, mentors, and sponsors will be encouraged to attend. Prizes will be awarded to the winning plan.
