The first ever Cape Cod Entrepreneurs Weekend, held the weekend of March 20-22 at Cape Cod Community College, was a huge success! The forecasts on the Cape Cod population for the next five years is both alarming and reasurring. In this report that we just posted online in the Population and Statistics topic, we see some distinct predictions on losing population back to 2000 numbers. In this recent story by the Cape Cod Times, they state: "There are twice the number of people on the Cape 65 and older as there are residents between the ages 25 and 34....." The Cape Cod Times published today that: "After two straight months of growth, Cape Cod real estate sales volume plummeted in November, according to numbers released yesterday by the Barnstable County Registry of Deeds. Last month, 321 sales were recorded at the registry, down more than 34 percent from November 2007, when 489 such transactions were completed.
